Our Services

The Public Works Team is committed to the maintenance and operation of the City of Industry’s infrastructure. This includes ensuring the safety and quality of: streets, sidewalks, traffic signals, street lights, traffic signs, and storm drain inlets. Through initiatives such as the Capital Improvement Program, we actively improve the City’s infrastructure. Our mission is to keep the amenities that make City of Industry a premiere location for businesses and we work hard to make sure the needs of City of Industry businesses are met and exceeded every single day.

The Engineering Division is responsible for the design and construction of private development and capital/public projects. The division collects development fees, processes permits, and provides inspections for a variety of construction and non-construction activities within the public right-of-way. The private development services we offer ensure the compliance of City Codes and reviews the development process. We also work closely with Federal, State, County, and public utility agencies where we are responsible for the management of grant-funded projects and programs.

The Public Works Department Counter Hours: 

• Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 - 5:00 pm. 
• Friday's 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Excluding Holidays. 
• City Hall closes for lunch from 12:00 - 1:00 pm Monday through Friday.
