Project Description: 

The applicant, PRL Glass, has submitted an application to construct a new a 38,441 square foot tilt-up industrial warehouse building, consisting of 36,265 square feet of warehouse space and approximately 1,394 square feet of office space.

Initial Study:

The Planning Department of the City of Industry has prepared an initial study and determined that the proposed project has the potential for significant effects in environmental topics that include Biological Resources, Cultural Resources, and Mineral Resources, but each of those potential impacts is mitigated to less than significant with the mitigation measures identified in the proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration. This document is available to the public via: 13530 Nelson Avenue MND. Public comments are welcomed between January 21, 2019 through February 11, 2019 at 5:00PM.

Project Description: 

The applicant, Sylvia Tran, has submitted an application to construct a new 216,716 square-foot industrial building located at 333 Hacienda Boulevard on a 9.5 acre vacant site . The applicant is looking to construct building 208,716 square feet of warehouse space and approximately 8,000 square feet of office space.

The Planning Department of the City of Industry has prepared an initial study and determined that the proposed project has the potential for significant effects in environmental topics that include Air Quality, Biological Resources, Cultural Resources, Hazards and Hazardous Materials and Tribal Cultural Resources, but each of those potential impacts is mitigated to less than significant with the mitigation measures identified in the proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration.
