The City of Industry has adopted and implemented a Sewer System Management Plan in order to minimize and eliminate future sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs) that occur in the City. The goal of the SSMP is to greatly reduce, if not eliminate, the water quality issues that could pose serious health and safety risks from SSOs. The City partners with Los Angeles County Consolidated Sewer Maintenance District for the operation and maintenance of the sewer system.
See a sewer overflow?
At any time, if a sewer spill occurs in the City, please call 1-800-675-HELP (4375) to report it.
Do Your Part
The City of Industry encourages you to do your part in ensuring sewer overflows are prevented as much as possible. Please download the Fats, Oils and Grease (FOG) poster, created by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, and see how following some simple rules greatly reduces the FOG that enters the sewer system.
