Important Updates for IPU Customers

Important Billing & Account Changes Effective June 1, 2026

Industry Public Utilities (IPU) has partnered with HometownHub to provide customer service and billing support beginning June 1, 2026. Utility services will continue without interruption.

New Payment Mailing Address

If you pay by check or money order, please send payments to:

IPU Payment Processing Center

Rochester, NY 14625-2702

ONLINE PAYMENT is currently not available. Please mail check payments to the address above.

Please update any bank bill pay services or accounts payable records to ensure payments are sent to the correct address.

New Account Number & Customer Portal

Customers will receive a new account number on their first bill issued on or after June 1, 2026. Your new account number is required to register for the new online customer portal.

The portal will allow customers to:

  • View and manage their account online
  • Make payments
  • Enroll in AutoPay
  • Sign up for paperless billing (eBilling)
  • Update contact preferences

AutoPay Customers

If you were previously enrolled in AutoPay, you will need to re-enroll through the new customer portal. Payment information from the previous system was not transferred.
