Mission
Statement:
Responsible for all investments for surplus
and bond monies and paperwork associated with all entities, including:
City of Industry, Industry Urban Development Agency, and Civic-Recreational-Industrial
Authority.
-Verification
of principal and interest extension computations and recording an entry
for each transaction.
- Assist
on Arbitrage calculations to meet Government Regulations.
- Monitor and enter into all repurchase Agreements with various banks
in New York.
- Also, check statements from Custodial banks, that the Providers are
maintaining sufficient amount of Securities to meet the required collateral
needed.
- Send all wires and have funds available to meet Bond & Lease
payments to Fiscal Agent.
Handle
all transactions regarding Escheatment of Funds:
Verify that funds have been received when Bond Holders claim payment
on unpaid Bonds and Coupons.
- Attend
Bond closings and execute proper documents and invest proceeds from
Bond sales.
- Breakdown
of Property Tax and Debt Service monies received monthly from the County
of Los Angeles.
- Preparations
of checks and invest proceeds from Bond sales.
- Calculate
and record breakdown of interest earned from investments with State
of California for each account.
-Preparation
of Statement of Investment Policy for Legislative bodyÕs approval.
-Also, prepare investment reports with current market value for all
entities.
-Sign checks and review registers for each entity.
-Monitor and reconcile bank statements for all savings accounts.
-Prepare checks, monitor bank statements for various checking accounts.
-Bank deposits and take care of any discrepancies with banks.
-Have funds available to meet expenditures for all registers.
-Available funds November 1st of each year from Industry Urban Development
Agency -Project #1, #2 and #3 Surplus.
-Accounts to make payments due City of Industry from Industry Urban
Development
-Agency, Civic-recreational-Industrial-redevelopment Projects #1, #2,
#3, 1995 -Subordinate Tax Allocation ref. Bonds.
